Full-Race Electronic Wastegate Conversion Kit - BorgWarner B2 EFR

The Full-Race Borg Warner B2 EFR Electronic Internal Wastegate Conversion (eIWG) kit replaces traditional boost activated wastegate canisters with a powerful and reliable OEM electronic actuator (stepper motor). Electronic actuators allow for precise control of the turbocharger wastegate in all conditions - opening the gate when you want it open, and closing the gate when you want it closed.  Compatible with 0.83 and 0.92 a/r B2 Frame EFR turbos with integrated wastegate, this is the exact setup used by the Papadakis Racing GR86 Formula D car.

The Full-Race electronic actuator does not rely on boost pressure to operate properly. The actuator is fully controlled electronically. This type of control is much safer than older methods where a popped off wastegate boost reference line could lead to a blown engine. In addition to being safer, the level of control is much better. The actuator supports positions from 5-95% so that boost can be dialed in perfectly.  It also removes the need to worry about changing springs, solenoids, hoses and fittings.

Electronic internal wastegate controller kits are designed to make installation onto Borg Warner B2 frame EFR turbochargers as easy as possible. The kit includes all hardware to attach the bracket and actuator arm securely. The included pigtail wiring harness allows for easy connection to your choice of standalone ecu or our EWG-PRO wastegate controller.

The Full-Race EWG-PRO Programmable Wastegate Controller can be paired with the eIWG Boost Control Conversion Kits for the ultimate in user-programmable control. If your ECU does not have an available H-Bridge output the EWG-PRO is fully capable as a standalone controller using a standard PWM output from your ECU.
